How to Choose Your First Class

A good first class is one whose core loop makes you want to keep practicing. SpiritVale's official listing presents seven base classes and their advanced paths; this guide turns that list into a simple choice framework.

Choose distance before damage

If you enjoy being in the middle of an encounter, begin with Warrior or Knight. If you prefer planning from range, look at Mage or Scout. Rogue favors mobility, Acolyte favors group support, and Summoner appeals to players who enjoy companion-led play.

Use the advanced path as a direction, not a promise

Each base class is associated with an advanced class on the official listing. Read that relationship as a clue to a future playstyle, then wait for current in-game details before committing to specific gear, skill, or stat advice.

Do not copy a build blindly

A shared build can be a useful starting point, but it should state its game version, goal, and required gear. If one of those is missing, treat it as an idea rather than a recommendation.
