SpiritVale Patch Notes: How to Track Every Update
Patch notes are the most important SEO and player-information surface for an Early Access MMO. They explain why yesterday's class, boss, card, or economy advice may need a new review date today.
Use the original announcement first
The Steam announcement feed is the primary place to verify a named update. Community summaries can help you navigate, but a guide should link back to the original announcement whenever it states a balance change, system change, or release detail.
Look for gameplay impact
Read beyond headline buffs and nerfs. Updates can change monster defenses, boss behavior, threat generation, status effects, equipment, or the tools that a build relies on. Record the affected version before you update a recommendation.
Update guides selectively
Do not rewrite every page after every update. Update the pages directly affected by the patch, change their review date, and add an editor note that explains what was rechecked. That gives readers and search engines a useful history rather than thin, repetitive churn.
